I love Scottsdale. Like, it’s a real, true, deep love. It’s the place where my heart is going to live until I live there. I think you’ve heard this all before, but it was enough to get me to go there twice in one year. I just, really, really, really love it there. You can read about my first experience in Scottsdale HERE.
Today, we’re talking about my second trip, and if you’re ever there on an extended trip, here’s a few more places that you need to visit.
Stay @ The Andaz
The Andaz is pretty much the most gorgeous hotel that I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It’s a group of little bungalows (see picture above) surrounded by cacti, dirt, and everything that is good about Arizona. It’s located right off Old Scottsdale Road, close enough to Old Town Scottsdale and the mall that it’s perfectly located to travel by bike, rental car or Uber. Plus, the Andaz has a super bad ass old convertible that you can rent and take on an “Instagram tour”. So, in other words, this hotel is my dream come true.
6114 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85253
If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, and you don’t have much time, there’s a Shake Shack at the mall- and it’s not inside the mall, so it’s easy to run in an grab a burger that’s definitely not a midwest cheeseburger. (It’s so good. Oh my Lord) 7014 E. Camelback Road Space B116 Scottsdale, AZ 85251. If you’ve got a little more time, and a car, we ate dinner one night at my favorite restaurant ever, Fuzzy’s Tacos: 414 S Mill Ave #115, Tempe, AZ 85281. We also ate one night at a “nicer” dinner at a place called The Living Room, and it was so so cute inside- total vibey, cute drinks and dinner place. 20751 N Pima Rd., Suite #120 Scottsdale, AZ 85255
Do These Things:
The Tempe Mall is a nice outdoor mall to walk around during the day (hello palm trees). Scottsdale Road has a Sprinkles Cupcakes, which basically is the Instagram content you never knew you needed. Rent a Bird or Lime scooter and give yourself a tour of Old Town Scottsdale (I did this, I cried because I was so happy). Lastly, enjoy the sunshine, take a few pictures for the ‘gram, and enjoy your vacation. This is my Disney World.
